Mission Statement & History

The Jim Hill Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Club (CRCL) was created in the fall of 2005 by students and teachers committed to maintaining a space dedicated to the cultivation of critical inquiry and intercommunity dialogue. Beginning with weekly discussions of topics and issues that were of interest or concern to Jim Hill students, the group expanded to include participation from multiple area high schools, and has involved a broad range of topics, speakers, field trips, and community action.
